About a month ago I posted about my 9 year old Andrew and how he had gotten into Bitcoin in a big way, to the point of selling his (meager) Apple shares for Bitcoin and putting his allowance into it. He also was asked by his assistant principal to give a presentation on Bitcoin in his math class which he was extremely excited to do.

Coindesk article on him: http://www.coindesk.com/kid-sells-apple-shares-buys-bitcoin/
I wanted to report back that he did his presentation and it was a huge hit! He said there were a ton of questions--kids wanted to know everything from whether you could buy video games with Bitcoin to how the QR codes worked to how private and public keys worked. He knew most of the answers and really made it fun. His teacher reported back that she learned a few things and that the presentation was really interesting.

He's also been asked to do a followup presentation for his science class! We printed up 30 more paper wallets and he's doing it today.
Since that first post he also started his first business, selling rubber band bracelets for Bitcoin only through his site: http://www.diddit.net/wonderbracelets/
To date he's fulfilled 17 orders (29 bracelets) to 9 states and 4 different countries. The demand got so high when his article was published that he had to 'hire' friends to make bracelets that he could sell on the site. Even cooler, he decided to use some of the shipping overages to send to charity, donating enough to help buy Thanksgiving dinner for 8 people through /u/seansoutpost. It has given him a real sense of accomplishment and made him feel far more empowered financially and with his future.
Thanks to the generosity of several redditors and readers of his article (both buying his bracelets and giving him a bit here and there), his original 0.15 BTC is now up to 0.62. Even though the USD value is low right now, his love of Bitcoin (and desire to buy more to hold) hasn't diminished in the slightest.
tl;dr: My son is teaching tons of kids about Bitcoin and has built a small business thanks to redditors and fellow Bitcoin enthusiasts.
